We had a wonderful Easter service at church and then spent the afternoon with our relatives!

Starting out the New Year with positive thoughts of adopting again!We have so much love and time to share with another little one! Each child is so special and is a gift from God. We have a lot of
experience with adoption and are so blessed by our children and their birth families.
  

Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas! The children all enjoyed their gifts and enjoyed many special times together! Blessings to everyone and we wish you all a Happy New Year!
                                                 

 

 

 

 

 

Waiting...

Waiting for the phone to ring, waiting for an email,
waiting for another chance to be shown to a
birth mother. Waiting is so hard! We had hoped
and prayed to have a new stocking to be hung
this year... waiting...

Home study ready!

We are so excited that our home study update is completed and we are approved
to try and adopt again. We are networking as many places as possible and telling
everyone we know that we want to adopt again. Our hope is to add another special

child to our family!

 

 

                                                        

The Magic of a Child

When we get to feeling jaded

By the problems that we face,

And the world that we inhabit

Seems a less than perfect place,

There is a refuge waiting,

We can find most anywhere,

An antidote for sorrow,

Like a breath of rain-washed air.

This tiny, little miracle

Is absolutely free,

And finding it can change us

From the way we used to be.

At just a moment's notice,

It can rearrange our world,

For there is no greater treasure

Than a little boy or girl.

There's an innocence about them,

Which is part of who they are,

And their joyousness of spirit

Shines as brightly as a star.

For while they're learning from us,

They teach us all the while,

And we get a glimpse of Heaven...

In the magic of a child.
